I bought this lid to cover my new Rubbermaid plastic container which I bought at the same time to use for sous vide cooking. The zipper was a bit tight but I really like it because it fits so perfectly and now that it's on I haven't had to take it off as I reuse the water I use for the sous vide. I prefer a lid over other options like ping pong balls because it feels easier and cleaner. The hinge makes it easy to access and the hole fits my joule perfectly which keeps it in place. I also appreciate being able to hang my bag's lid on the side and use the lid to hold it in place instead of having to fiddle with clips. I hate when I buy things that say they're supposed to work with something else but then they don't fit so I was a bit apprehensive about this lid but the company did a great job making their lid compatible with both made the container compatible as well and with Joel. . So far very happy I bought this lid (bonus that it was affordable!) and if I were to buy a different sized container I would buy the matching lid from this company again!
