I've been wearing these shoes very regularly for about 14 months now. Here's a rundown: Pros: They're fairly comfortable and good if you're on your feet all day and need a shoe that can help relieve heel pain. Cons: Protectors GONE. I slipped and slipped for months to the point where it was time to give her up for good. I would continue to wear it if the protector lasted longer, but it just doesn't help after a year, even with relatively light use. Verdict: Worth it, but look for a sale as they probably won't last as long as you'd like.
