These gloves are very comfortable for riding a motorcycle but a bit heavy for doing anything more than holding onto handlebars and braking. I charged up the batteries and tried them out inside the house. They warmed up quickly to their hottest setting. I have to say that it didn't feel hot enough to overcome riding in cold weather with a lot of wind coming at them. I don't have a lot of experience with heated gloves so it may just be a safety feature. They seem well built and that they would be warm off the bike even without heat.
