To start this review I have to say that I have never tried a wet dry straightener so I have no reason to compare this product. : But I have to say that it definitely didn't work on my hair. It dried my hair but didn't straighten it and I found that my hair was actually less frizzy if I pulled it back and let it air dry before straightening than when I used this product. I definitely had to straighten my hair with a regular Fahrenheit straightener after using this product, so it doesn't live up to the promise. It does get very hot though and works well as a regular flat iron, but I wouldn't rely on it to straighten wet hair - although it does work fine in place of a blow dryer.
