These were an inexpensive set of 6.0 glasses with protective case. I rarely wear these. If I try and walk with them I will crash into things. My aging eyes do not focus closely like a kid's, but I normally use just a 1.5 or 2.0 for reading. I bought a pack of these 6.0s to help when I need to really work up close. They place the focus area about 3 inches in front of my eyes so they are not good for normal use. But for first aid, electronics, and other precision work they are wonderful and don't break the bank. I keep a pair in each first aid kit and in several of my tool boxes. If I need to do a small precision solder repair or electronics project, these quickly work great and I don't have to drag out a big magnifier. Need to remove a splinter or look closely in an ear canal, you can see clearly. They are not ultra quality, but for a 1% use duty cycle, I did not need ultra quality and now I have enough to put them where I am likely to need a super close up view.
