This is a pretty good product for the price. We received all three books - each book had its own water pen and easily snaps back into the book for portable use. I've noticed many complaints about rubbing off the material quickly - most toddlers and preschoolers don't yet have the fine motor skills to type lightly with a crayon, brush or marker. As my granddaughter is not quite 3 yet we tried a soft brush instead of the brush that the books came with. It was still too much pressure, so to be honest I just put the wetted sponge in the bowl and let her press her finger against the sponge and pull. in pictures with her finger. It worked great and she loves it - she asks for books every day! What we've found is that when flipping through the pages, it helps to stick a toothpick or something between them so they don't separate when wet. And when it's done, I lay it on its side like an accordion and fan it to dry. I have to admit that at this price even if they only last 3 or 4 months I would buy them again - they work very well.
