The brass fitting are critical and the hose resists any kinks.

I've used others that appear like this but with aluminum fittings and they will chemically fuse with brass faucets but not this one, over a summer. This makes them impossible to remove. Had to cut off those with aluminum fittings. This hose has brass fittings which work well. Be sure to avoid aluminum hose fittings. This hose is very light weight although the narrow hose dia. does limit water flow. I don't recommend this hose if you need full flow for a large lawn sprinkler. Much less flow rate than a standard 3/4 in. hose. But for general garden watering it's fine.
