Tl;dr: These are some of the best headphones I've heard. Not just for the price - I'm talking about dot. I've had $300 headphones that didn't sound nearly as good. The ZS10 Pros is an easy recommendation for me. You will not be disappointed. Okay, longer review: I recently bought a pair of KZ ZSN Pro Xs, mainly because DankPods keep talking about them. I was incredibly impressed with their sound and build quality, especially considering the price. Digging down the Chi-Fi rabbit hole a bit, I noticed that many budget audiophiles rave about the ZS10 Pro. I thought, hey, if the $20 ZSN sounds that good, the ZS10 Pro should be even better, right? Keep in mind that as the price goes up you get fewer returns on this stuff, but I valued it at $45, so even if the ZS10 didn't completely outperform their cheaper brethren, at least I didn't lose that much on them. . I can tell you that the ZS10 Pro is definitely worth the small premium you pay. Don't expect them to sound "twice as good" as the ZSN, of course, but I've noticed a lot of little things that make them worth the extra price. First just the build quality. The ZSNs don't look cheap by any means, but the ZS10 Pro's stainless steel body looks really nice. They just look solid. The sound profile is slightly different from ZSN. ZSNs have a remarkably flat frequency response. The ZS10s color the sound a bit more, but not bad at all. I wouldn't really call it a "V curve", it's just that the lows and highs are a BIT more noticeable than the mids. Overall it's still a very flat, natural curve and everything is really crisp and clear. The bass is powerful but tight. They won't impress people who just want stinky bass, but for those of us who want OVERALL GOOD SOUND, the ZS10s will spoil you. The bass stands out without drowning out the mids. Sound stage, oh my god. There really is an incredible three-dimensionality. I'm a drummer and depending on how good the track I'm listening to, the ZS10's soundstage makes it feel like I'm sitting behind my drum kit. You just have to experience it. Every instrument sounds different in the physical space around your head. I have NEVER experienced that with such cheap headphones. It's safe to say that the KZ ZS10 Pro are "budget audiophiles". Chi-fai has been killing me lately. Get them and be amazed.
