Review on Application Monitoring with RTView by Jon Garcia

The best thing about this product was it’s ability to monitor all our apps from one place without needing additional agents or other tools for monitoring each app individually throughtout the day.

It has been easy to learn how things work but it doesn't seem like there are any major downsides at moment aside from price. Seems they need more features in order to compete with other products out there such as New Relic etc which provide better value over what rtv does currently so I expect them to be adding these extra capabilities soon however if you can afford paying then why not? We have found out where we've had problems within applications causing slowdowns by using rtv's dashboard and also seeing exactly when users started experiencing lag times. So far no noticeable downside just having everything under 1 roof!
