Love it. I was able to examine an entire coin by rotating the main sight 180 degrees around the base and placing the coin on another surface about 8 inches below the table on which the main unit sits. The focal length of the visor offers a large field of vision. The weight on the base block prevents it from falling after the sight rotates 180 degrees. Incidentally, this silver part replaces the transparent plastic housing at the end of the scope and is used when viewing highly reflective objects (e.g. test coins). Simply remove the barrel and snap in the silver piece.
