This is a nice, simple and light bike stand. Probably not as easy to transport as some that fold up, but it serves my purpose well. I need to wash my cyclocross bike after a few muddy runs and need something to keep it upright. I could have gotten a stronger metal stand but then I would have to worry about rusting. Since this stand is made of hard plastic, there is nothing to worry about other than the screws that hold the stand together. There are some adjustments for different tire sizes from fat mountain bike to road bike. Since my bike is 32mm and my road bike is 23mm, I found a good setting for both. The stand touches my rear derailleur on both bikes (no idea what they're doing to the rear derailleur in the picture on the website) so I use it with the front wheel and it's holding up great. If you have the same needs as me, this stand is perfect. It's light and compact enough to throw in your car and take with you. I tend to agree with other reviewers that this stand is not strong enough to be a permanent bike stand as it is lightweight. To do this, you will need one or more heavier sandbags to hold! I gave it 4 stars because it works as intended and I love it, but nothing special.
