We had to repair our new clothes dryer early after a build up of lint under the filter caused the filter to rise a bit, but just enough for the edge to hang on the filter stayed sheet and break the lint filter. We realized that cleaning the filter every time it is used is not enough and we need to thoroughly clean those tiny crevices that are so hard to reach. I tried a dryer air vent brush but it didn't go deep enough. I played around with it a bit to set it up (hot running water really helps!) but it worked like a dream and sucked up all the dirt that couldn't be removed so I'm happy! The only reason I took off a star is that the order comes with additional plastic adapters for different vacuums. I'm sure it works for the company's profits and improves efficiency, but it's wasteful as hell as I'm not sure what I can use them for and I'll probably have to toss them in the trash. A few more pieces of plastic in the landfill.
