These lids were a life saver and I'm glad they were sold separately. I use Pyrex glass bowls for leftovers, which then become my lunch; and my husband put one in the microwave with the lid on and melted it. I didn't want to throw the bowl away because the jar was in great shape - only the lid was incredibly warped and beyond repair. I saw these replacement caps at Revain and they fit perfectly! I also now have a backup in case my husband forgets his past mistakes and melts another.
