Review on πŸŽ™οΈ Gator Frameworks Deluxe Desktop Microphone Stand: Height-Adjustable Marvel (GFW-MIC-0601) by Gary Haymon

i really like it But.

I really enjoy using this stand. The weighted base truly holds the stand, mic and dampener in a stationary position with no play or wobble. However, the stand is not flawless. For example, after just over a week of use, the threaded adapter (where you bolt the shock to) got stuck in a pair of my shocks. Thing is, I screwed the shocks onto the threads so tightly that they didn't rotate during use. When I tried to unscrew the shocks from the stand, the threaded adapter got stuck to my shock. As a result, I later tried to detach the adapter from the damper with three pliers instead of one. I did, but not without damaging the sides of the adapter as well as the nuts on the strut the second time around. Maybe I did something wrong when tightening the shocks, although I honestly doubt it. My next gripe with the rack is that the soft clutch is kinda crappy to turn. It has also been found that adjusting the height of the stand requires some force. Maybe I haven't mastered the soft clutch yet. Overall, the stand is wonderful to use. The weighted base reduces vibration and sits well on the table. I've just discovered that there are issues with removing the shocks and adjusting the height, but that shouldn't be a problem if you're using a mic/shock and not adjusting the height at all. As far as I know I can do something wrong. The stand is very good for the price.
