Buyer warning! Best in Radio

Lots of issues with this purchase; An early purchase in the pandemic and a 30-day return window probably didn't help. The radio seemed to work for the 1st or 2nd week. Played a few hours a day but decided to charge the battery. Big mistake. It never worked again. The charging port says 6 VDC, but the documentation says 5 VDC (I assumed what was printed on the device should be correct, right)? So 6v. Checked my charger (which did not come with the radio) and confirmed correct voltage and polarity. The charge light came on, so I left it on for about 8 hours; the radio doesn't turn on. I checked the battery with a voltmeter and it is dead (0.2V). Went to Batteries Plus with the radio in hand and the clerk tried 2 different new batteries but the radio didn't work. For €100 you might think you're getting a product that lasts over 2 weeks, but I'm becoming more and more convinced of the opposite. Too bad that my return period has expired for a year and the return period was already over a month when the problems first appeared.
