I LOVE this skirt but I understand that if you are a US size 2 you NEED a 4 and even then it can be adjusted. You must wear high waisted clothing (I'm 26 inches). If you want it to sit more on your hips, order one size up. I managed to sew the button on a bit so it's a little looser, but as I said, size 4 = size 0/2. I'm 5ft 6in and the length is short but good. It's very cute and the material is very nice and thick. Well made and comfortable, keep that in mind
