After trying several cheap windshield and dash mounts with flexible arms, and to say the least, I stumbled upon this little gem. This mount was everything I wanted and needed. First, I stream live while driving. The only thing you will find if you want to do the same is that the flex arm mounts DO NOT WORK! PUSH TOO STRONG! My GPS mount has a sturdy arm with a ball end, but it's designed for GPS and won't work with a smartphone. I was able to attach my HTC Evo Design 4g to it while waiting for this Arkon mount to arrive. The wait was worth it. It's VERY solidly made, doesn't wobble (used on the windshield but haven't tried a dash mount) and everything looks like it should. One thing, and I think others may have mentioned it, is that the trigger pops open abruptly, startling the passengers. It doesn't bother me because it's a small price to pay for a properly designed and engineered mount. THANK YOU ARKON! I would recommend this to anyone with a smartphone that needs a windshield or dash mount at a good price.
