Review on Corsair K100 Optical Mechanical Gaming Keyboard by Jessica Payne

Overall I like the look, feel and speed of the keyboard. I disagree with a few things that you should keep in mind. 1) Cherry MX Silver switches are significantly more sensitive than I expected. My fingers keep getting fat while typing. Sometimes I'll start twisting to the left only to find that it's just my ring finger's weight on "a" activating it when I don't even feel like I'm pressing a key. 2) The leftmost "G#" keys messed up my muscle memory. I keep pressing "G1" when I want to press "ESC" and "G6" when I want to press "CTRL". Those 2 issues are pretty annoying but I still love it and will keep working with it to build new muscle memory. I switched to this keyboard from the Mad Catz STRIKE7 for context. UPDATE in a week: I give up. Went back to my mad catz. I will not buy Cherry MX Silver again in the future. I got rid of the G-keys for the most part, but I quickly got tired of typing extra letters in each sentence. Also, iCue really sucks for a reason. It's unintuitive and doesn't load the latest profile, so you'll have to open and set it up every time you turn on your computer. Also, the profiles are stored in the software and not on the board, so they're complete and lifeless unless you're using iCue. What is it, 1997?TL;DR - Cherry MX Silver is too sensitive, iCue SUCK, G-keys are poorly placed. Now I have a dust bag for $230.
