We have two cats who have destroyed at least a dozen cables and headphones in the past, but this cable seems up to the task. resist their ruthless chewing. Time will tell if it's possible, but it should feel good. It would be unreasonable to expect EVERY cord to be tangle-free, and here it is. However, when they bunch up or get tangled, they unravel and straighten out extremely easily, which I find amazing. Finally, the weight of the cable is surprisingly light. Given its rather humble and sturdy outer casing, you'd expect it to be heavy, but that's not the case at all. The edge case was (and always has been) an issue as my particular phone case was unforgiving. However, when I plugged it in, it ended up with free space, so that's impressive.
