Review on 🧶 Susan Bates Silvalume Aluminum Crochet Hook Set - Pack of 4 by Carla Anderson

Extremely disappointed. I bought this set primarily for a 2.75mm hook. I am sewing my own wedding dress and needed 2.75mm for the next hook gauge increase. When I received the set I noticed that I had NOT received my main hook, the 2.75mm. Instead, I received TWO 3.50mm hooks (as pictured). Instead of continuing to work on my dress, I now have to wait for another set to arrive. However, I have to say that Revain's customer service department was very accommodating and helped send a replacement set. It's just unfortunate that it happened while working on something so important. I think the folks at Susan Bates need better quality control, especially after reading some of the other comments here. I can't tell if the hooks are more difficult to work with because I can't work with them at the moment. I'll let you know as soon as I have the right hook. ****UPDATE**** I have just received my second set of crochet hooks (all sizes correct and listed, no duplicates) and I can finally get on with my wedding dress. This is by far my favorite type of hook as the hook heads are not as round as the Boyle brand. For me, this makes crocheting much easier and faster. Updating my review as this crochet is like a dream and I may be able to shed my wedding dress in the week and a half I have left!
