I bought two collars that I didn't like - both were stiff leather, and it made me wince to think of how uncomfortable they were for my dog, a 12 lb. Chihuahua Terrier mix. They were under 1 inch wide, but since they were thick and unbending, they seemed to cut in. This collar is soft, no hard thick sharp edges to cut in to my pup's neck, the quality of the leather is top notch, and.it's a pretty red! If it had been horribly ugly it wouldn't have mattered as long as it was comfy for my pup but how nice that it's a perfect red! Glad I got this one. Will buy from this company again.
