Review on Goal Zero Boulder Monocrystalline Solar by Esera Warren

Revainrating 4 out of 5

not bad but expensive

Goal Zero products are expensive. You can buy a 100W solar panel for a lot less; see, for example, Renology. I have one of their pads and it's great and thanks to a custom adapter from Goal Zero it plugs directly into my Yeti for charging. So why this one? A number of different reasons; There are two Yeti, so now you can charge each one at the same time instead of one at a time. This one has some very serious framing and protection for the panels. The connector is specifically designed to connect to Goal Zero products, so you really can use it with just about anything that needs to be considered. The cable is long enough to keep the device in the shade and the panel in the sun. I bought it because of the build quality. They do a serious job of creating quality items. Let me rephrase that; They are all built in China but designed in Utah and their quality control is as excellent as their service. NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE STAND. It really only allows you to open it fully or keep it closed. Was hoping for something more adjustable to keep the panel at the optimal angle to the sun. and that's why he loses a star. The Renology panel will eventually fit in my RV as it is lighter and easier to install on and off the roof. It will stay at home.

Pros
