ie if you only need to install a couple of shower heads you can probably get by with just a roll of teflon tape. If you've never used Teflon tape before, it's very easy and I walk you through some basic instructions in my video. Basically, you just wind the threads clockwise and you're done. Yes, it is true that Teflon tape comes in different strengths. I'd say this one falls somewhere in the middle: I've tried both thicker and thinner versions of Teflon tape. The only thing to really watch out for is the flimsy materials as they break too easily and don't do the job very well. This band is pretty good and this multipack will last me a long time. This product was NOT provided to me as part of a promotion. I bought it after some comparison shopping and this review is solely the result of my own opinion and use of the product.
