I was riding my bike in my own brand of cycling shoes from a bike shop at the mall and was having a lot of trouble pedaling to the point where I fell once or twice because of him couldn't stop in time. Very frustrated I bought a new pair of cycling shoes and didn't realize until I arrived that the shoes had no spikes! So I bought these spikes, screwed them into my new cycling shoes and started cycling. Oh my goodness! Doesn't matter! While my new cycling shoes are awesome, these spikes are just as awesome. They slide in and out of the pedals easily by pivoting left or right, but otherwise remain snug and tight. I never knew what a big difference a cheap pair of name brand boots could make. I think that's why Shimano is such a respected name in the bike market.
