Corrugated cardboard scraper One side of the carton is perforated for removal and converts the package into a flat scraper. The cardboard insert can be flipped (turned over) to extend its use. The kit includes a large bag of catnip. The size of the insert is also suitable as filling material for the KONG Naturals Incline Scratcher. This inclined scraper is more expensive and strong enough to last 3-4 refills. The cardboard does tear a little with use due to the corrugation, but it's not particularly dirty, and I've never had a case where an insert unexpectedly fell apart. Very durable. One of my two middle-aged kittens especially loves the cardboard texture, but all the cats I've had have loved cardboard scratching posts (much more than ones covered in carpet or sisal). A scratching post for cats is not only useful, but also gives them joy. It's an inexpensive way to please kittens and protect other surfaces. Highly recommended.
