This is definitely much better than the silicone strap that comes with the watch as it is breathable. Being outside in the summer heat with the original band was just awful; I had to wear it very loosely and move the watch around my wrist constantly. It's much more comfortable, but my main concern is durability. Not much time has passed and some of the holes are already a bit worn. Although this is a good buy for the price. My only other issue - and it's probably my fault for not reading every detail - is that it's a heck of a lot. (Or I just have insanely small wrists.) Either way, I wear it almost as tight as possible. EDIT: Yes, that exposed buckle is indeed an issue. I don't take off the stars because of the price, but they could really file off the end of the buckle. It scratches everywhere if you're not careful, so I grabbed some sweaters and pulled the thread out. The thing is practically a weapon for clothing and furniture.
