It's so cool for a Mario fan! Our boys are obsessed, and you know, sometimes they just need to get out of the game and DO something. It's so hard to find what they're into, the more digital the world gets, the more toys, real toys, take a back seat. Fuse beads are everywhere in our house! We have many sets and many colors and we need more boards which I need to get soon as some of them need more boards. For example, Bowser requires 3 or 5 mini-boards. The special thing about the book is that my son just put the board on top of the book and we glued the perler beads right there because you can see right underneath and it's real size! Elegant Perler bead design. You are very cool. If you decide to have younger kids like my 4 and 6 year old play with this our 9 year old is over it - Pokemon all the way! Lol But for younger kids I suggest getting some tweezers and extra boards right away because it gets frustrating for them to keep trying to put beads in there and dropping them out of their clothespins because they hit the beads to close one to get. on they tried to do. Definitely other boards too, because how are you going to do really big cool projects without them? I thought I could iron a piece and then move the finished ironed piece and start building again to free the board and add, but what nonsense! The boards are quite cheap, I recommend taking 5 small ones or one big one.
