I needed a waterproof strap for my Timex Expedition so I jumped at the chance and went for this one. I was a little worried it would be too thin compared to the thickness of the watch but I think it looks very nice. I was surprised by the silky feel, it's really nice and light as well. They offer a pointed tool and 2 pins, but the pins are not designed to retract far enough to fit. So they actually look like they're the right length, but they don't work. I only used pins from the tape I was replacing. The new band looks slimmer and more elegant than the standard leather band, which is another plus for me.
