Review on Thermostat Replacement Chevrolet 2011 2015 2012 2015 by Jason Elliss

The coolant temperature sensor was not working and the oil cooler line gasket is missing

Fitted this part. Note that NO gasket other than the one pre-installed on the cylinder block is included. No oil cooler line gasket etc. After the job was done the machine gave code p0018. Luckily I still had the coolant temperature sensor from the old one and was able to easily remove the new sensor and install the old one. then the code p0018 disappeared with the old one installed. So I got a thermostat and engine coolant housing assembly without the obligatory oil cooler line gasket and a faulty coolant temperature sensor. However, the part has been working since I provided my own, but at this rate I don't know how long it will last.

Pros
  • Engine Cooling and Climate Control
Cons
  • Zero
