Absolutely perfect for my 6 and 7 year old boys. I don't know what those other reviews are saying about it being too bulky or heavy. This is a climbing harness. The center rings are perfect for attaching a carabiner or tying together with a quick line and using the carabiner. Ideal for climbing and to use the center rings together as a safety net. Ideal for the little ones. I bought two and use them for climbing as well as their hunting harness while climbing/standing on a stand with me. The back ring is great for rack movement as well as safety as they are attached to either a tree or rack and will not drop 20 feet to the forest floor if you slide.
