Worked great for backing up my DVR recordings.
I had a new dish receiver so I bought it to back up my TV recordings so I wouldn't lose them with the old receiver. It was slow but worked beautifully. Now I leave it plugged in and don't worry about moving them to the new receiver because accessing them from that hard drive is just as fast. It was really painless. I plugged it in and plugged it in, my hopper recognized it and that was it. I want everything to work that well.
