Bought this to use as a dressing table and there are some definite pros and cons. Does not conflict with other colors in the room. The swivel mechanism is PERFECT for a dressing table. My area is carpeted so the chair doesn't slide around so easily, now I can just roll over to get up without moving the chair. Excellent construction, durable material. Very durable and easy to assemble. The fabric does not scratch and makes a hard-wearing impression. Price! My chair is a little tight. He's not that soft. I only sit in it for about 15 minutes at a time so it doesn't bother me but if this chair is used for a long time I think it would become uncomfortable. For the most part I'm happy with it!
