This product works great as long as you follow these steps: 1) Hot liquid will freeze faster than cold liquid, making the ice clear and COMING ALL OUT 2) Fill the bowl so that each slot is completely filled to the point where it's a little too full. When frozen each cube expands giving you a little edge to lift them out of the tray, you will have whole transparent straws.
