Works but rarely. It may be my fault for miscalculating but my car uses 5.2 quarter tons of oil - when I drained the oil it filled up about 1 inch from the top of the sump which was very difficult to get into mine to pour waste oil container. It's so full it's IMPOSSIBLE to put oil in because the drain lip is too small so I spilled about 1QT on the floor. I have an application for other smaller engines like my snow blower or mower.
