Hard to see - good but EXPENSIVE

Summary: I like the Petcube Play 2 camera even though it's overpriced. I don't like Petcube's marketing policy. General. First, the price. For the price of the petcube play you can buy 6 or 7 similar home security cameras that do pretty much everything that the petcube play does. You won't get Alexa (which I don't use anyway and I've heard it's limited to the Petcube) or a laser pointer (which is fun!), but everything else is comparable. And other cameras have better apps to view and control them. So it's very expensive and for around $125 you can get a remote controlled laser pointer. Its worth it? May be. My sphynx cat loves it but is confused when she hears my voice :(But they also persuade you to switch to their paid service. So not only is the camera insanely expensive, it hides features from you when you use it don't do. don't pay any more! And they keep asking you to do said update. emails and in the app. Via those emails, update my service etc. Each of them had to unsubscribe separately - so who knows how many lists I'm on. And when I asked for a review, when they also kept begging me and complaining about how they keep texting me via email, THEY EMAILED ME! Some people would have agree but i personally hate it 1 email list to deal with so it's hard to rate i like the camera itself iso the display, speaker and night vision are good it looks pretty cool and well built out and the laser pointer mac ht fun but the value is questionable and the way they bother me is just gross. downright annoying. EDIT: Honestly, I wanted to update this. The advertising and calls to upgrade the paid service seem to have stopped and after unsubscribing from 3 (I think) mailing lists the emails seem to have stopped too. Even if my review says otherwise.
