Review on πŸ”— Efficiently Cut and Rivet Chains with the D.I.D KM500R Chain Tool by David Flores

Revainrating 5 out of 5

First observation and design looks good.

Although I haven't used the KM500R DID measurement tool, I can test a few important designs. I just received my D.ID. Chain tool KM500R. I also have a MotionPro 3-n-1 chain cutter/riveter. DID has some nice features that I like. It looks like the tool press has a definite stop. When the bit approaches the end of the tool (U-shaped side), it will stop. The U-shaped end appears too narrow. I also noticed that the rivet head is flush with the outer roller. So this design feature stops when it presses against the surface of the chain. Outstanding design feature. Thus there is no problem with the expansion of the pin head. Very heavy tool compared to MotionPro 3-n-1 tool.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was
