Revainrating 5 out of 5

Robust construction Fast and durable!

Flies great out of the box and even better once set. I get what Arris is getting at with this, and I'm all for thinking outside the box, but ironically it's inside-the-box thinking. I fly a lot and often crashed into small trees, bushes etc and had my ESCs damaged or ripped off. I went with this build because of the stacked turret and hidden ESCs, but this can be a downside, if ever either ESC decides to burn (and we know how they can burn), you run the risk of other important ones Parts are burning so this will remain for the future. I noticed the sticky foam landing gear fell off on the first flight so better invest in that. The 2 main hacks to do in this build is either move the tx or reinforce it with better tape or something, the rp-sma connector is over the edge of the frame and adds a better antenna due to the weight like adding a mushroom will break the end of the transmitter, i noticed that the picture disappeared for 3 days during the flight, thinking it was bad signal, interference, etc., but i didn't figure it out until it was too was late. Another option is to attach a small tie-down strap to the tower and frame to secure the connection (though not very tight). There are slots in the side of the frame for this. Like all other pre builds it has its flaws that you can fix but overall it's quickly becoming one of my favorite racers, it's fast and durable oh and did I mention it's real carbon fiber not that glass shit that Props are really tough I've bent them back many times and they still work, the camera is one of the decent ones with great picture even in low light, I fly them a lot as I'm waiting for ESC for my Rodeo 150 :( so I fly the more I squeeze it and it can do so much more!

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • I don't have much to complain about, everything is fine
