In my opinion there are a few things that would make it better, for example: a quick return to midnight to set the alarm, the ability to adjust the alarm volume instead of to its progressive and with the volume of the radio where i put it last not at the standard entry level. Overall, though, this is a good alarm clock at a great price. The dimming level isn't too bright or too dim, the green light is easy on the eye in the dark, there are two easy-to-set radio or chime alarms (and they're still pretty quick, though you can't just go back to midnight for a starting point), radio reception is good and it's quite small. The only real downside I noticed is that the snooze times are inconsistent. I had 9 to 2 minutes. But with 2 alarms, you can easily avoid snoozing if you want. Overall I'm happy with my choice.
