I've bought another one of these before and the spikes weren't that stiff so they just felt flimsy and wobbly when I used them and it took me more effort to clean my scalp. That's great! The spikes have the perfect level of firmness that cleans my scalp with minimal effort, even less than using my hands! Before my arms get tired as I have fine hair but lots of it it gets heavy and sticks to my head when it gets wet and difficult to shampoo. My hands used to be sore when I used to wash my hair and scalp, now I do it in minutes, I feel fresh from the best scrub and my skin feels better too! I like how it feels in hand, very natural. If it helps, my hands are smaller than average if you have big hands I'm not sure how that would work.
