I bought this mainly because it cost $3.45 and it would have meant my order would have been shipped between $22 and $25, which would have entitled me to free shipping on my items, which pretty much 6 $ saved if I decide not to get it. I need/want it. In any case, the transfer rates of the reader are not specified either on the packaging or in the description. Transfer speeds are as fast as my class 10 cards can handle, ie at least 20MB/s or faster. The build quality is clearly unsatisfactory, which calls into question the durability of the product. The packaging claims a 5-year limited warranty, but who's to say Zeikos will still be a brand 5 years from now, or if someone bothers to replace a $3.50 SSD reader. Prices.
