Got a really good discount on my III and I'm glad I bought it. However, the size of the Palm V suits my (and most people's) style better. 2MB is a lot of storage unless your Outlook contacts are 5 digits long and you need to have 50 different apps. Graffiti is good once learned, which is not difficult. But while the detection is light years ahead of that piece of Apple junk I foolishly bought a few years ago (I had to have some), you can't record things on the fly and expect the system to convert them to text. Although I don't have one, I believe there are digital ink apps out there with which you can take notes in any handwriting. which you have. As long as you can read this, that's fine. I have no idea if Palm compares well to Windows CE, but judging by the sales figures, Palm is outpacing it. The battery life is not what we would like, but it is sufficient. But if you need a PDA in your shirt pocket, the Palm V is the only solution.
