They definitely muted the sound. They are definitely not super comfortable. They're not exceptionally uncomfortable either. They cost $12, you get what you pay for. For those who say they are too small, I don't think you are using them properly. You need to rotate the earbuds around the frame to make them bigger. I'm 6ft 2in and have been told I'm a relatively tall gentleman. I have a relatively large head. They fit well enough. glasses included.
