I will do my best to keep my review free of emotion. My cats are very interested in it. I followed the instructions and it says "Turn all the way" at the end. The thing wobbled dangerously on all levels, and it wasn't clear how to tighten it. So I disassembled it and cooked it back in the box. But first I read more questions and answers and finally stumbled across someone else's answer to the question (not the seller's answer which was no different from the instructions) I decided to give it a try. It worked - thanks man! To avoid the shaky useless and dangerous consequences of assembling only by instructions: 1) Assemble according to the instructions 2) In the last step - before putting the last level, look at the hole - you will see the depth of the threaded hole . When you finally get to the top level, PUSH DOWN FIRMLY AND TURN AT THE SAME TIME. Keep turning, even if you hear strange noises, until you turn enough to fill the hole. It may seem like you won't get that deep since you can barely line up the hole with the metal rod, but you will. I agree with other reviewers that the design specs need improvement. I would have sent it back but my cats loved it and since there were good people to share their agony I gave it another try. Others gave up. I am not blaming you. Much luck!
