When I got my Switch for my birthday, I immediately knew that I needed a kind of protective cover for it. I looked at the more durable cases first, but noticed that none of them allow for the two things I need: the ability to easily remove the joysticks and the ability to still fit in the docking station. When I read the description of this case, that was it. covered! Pros: - Protects the switch from scratches and scuffs - Screen protector included - Clear view of the real console (when I know I need to take it out and clean it) - Makes joysticks easier to detach - The stand is quiet to use - allows the switcher to keep using the dock! - slim design makes me think it could still fit in most travel cases - reasonable price - included microfiber cloth is useful even after instillation! - The rear corners are slightly raised for better grip on the switch. Cons: Very thin, hard plastic makes it look like it won't fall. I assume he can sacrifice himself to protect the switch. - there are already small scratches or stains around the buttonholes. (Perhaps this can be seen in the close-ups). I'm worried that they might already be stress fractures, but I run my fingernail over them, it seems like there's nothing there. I will keep an eye on these places. - Joycon faceplates are removable and snap on easily, but care must be taken to press them firmly. I put the front panel on top of the joycons and then put the joycons in the back cover. The instructions for this weren't clear, but it just worked. The dust seems to stick to the outside right after assembly. I hope it will be less "attractive" to dust/lint after use (just received it today). The napkin included in the set helps with this. The protective film has NO instructions! Only my previous experiences with smartphones let me dress really easily. One note: If you have bubbles, swipe them to the edge of the screen, lift the screen protector slightly to "pop" the bubble, and release. The screen protector should close smoothly and all traces of the bubbles should disappear. I love this case and it is exactly what I was looking for. Not super bulky and extremely flexible with ease of use. Enough coverage to prevent light wear. This case is definitely not for everyone. Some people want large, durable cases that will withstand abuse and keep on performing. Some people need bigger, more textured grips. This cover is not for you. If you're looking for something lightweight that protects your Switch but doesn't sacrifice its flexibility as a console, then this is the case for you!
