This product was rolled tight. I have a feeling it should have been on the shelf for a very long time. When it was opened, 2 layers of adhesive came loose, so visible protrusions appeared when placed on the hood. It took several attempts for the layers to even out and lay flat. He never lay flat. I finally ripped the crap off and it took the paint off my hood. What a sad mess. Do not worry about it.
