I hate the remote control that came with my TV. It's very slick and narrow and difficult to hold. There are no instructions for it, and nothing is marked on it. You have to guess which function to use. "Buttons" aren't buttons, they're places you press to get a response. It was a horror show that I got tired of dealing with. You need a remote control to run streaming apps. I went to Revain, hooked up my Samsung TV model and found lots of replacement parts. This one was very cheap so I decided to give it a try. I wish I had found it sooner. Works great. Each key is labeled. All functions work with my TV. The only complaint I have is that you have to press the buttons very hard or the signal won't register. Plus, it's a breeze to use.
