I thought I'd try with the volume control. Always too much smell for my home and the smells are unpleasant/artificial. Perhaps in a large family room that is away from places where people don't congregate that would be fine. I opted for what I hoped would be a lighter scent. Something like fresh laundry. Still too strong. I want to use in my bathroom next to the toilet. There is hardly any air circulation through the screen wall. The smell is too strong after 10 minutes. I tried using it on the interior stairwell of our two storey apartment building where not much fresh air circulates, but between the 4 front doors and the exterior door which is open several times a day I was expecting the odor not to build up. After an hour it smelled like I was trying to cover up the smell. I'm thinking of dripping some nice smelling detergent on the corner of the carpet.
