I give this unit 5 stars for what it is after reading some critical reviews criticizing what it is not. So what is it: A radio that receives AM, FM and "Weather Band". This radio works well and clearly, even in places where you suspect interference (e.g. in a building or basement). This radio is practically not discharged. EVEN IF YOU KEEP IT IN YOUR POCKET: You have an emergency flashlight. Consider adding a "glow in the dark" decal. IN THE EXTREME: You can leave your phone red for the duration of an emergency call. Things it isn't: * USB battery. They can also be obtained, but these are not the same. * Tactical flashlight. Seriously folks, are we really so out of touch with the realities of the world that we want everything to be everything? This is a great manual solar powered emergency radio and more. Be happy.
