I've been using a typical TOY640 oil filter wrench for 5 years, it fits much tighter into the oil filter housing. I wanted to try this type because it had sides that matched the slots in the case. It's much easier to use as it snaps onto a 3/8" extension and doesn't require an outlet to use it, but it doesn't fit into the case as well as the other. Still works fine but you need to make sure you have a good grip so you don't slip off and damage the case. If I had to apply a lot of pressure I might go back to a different style, but this is more comfortable to use.
