Review on πŸ§₯ Ultimate Protection and Comfort: The North Face Youth Boys Thermoball Lightweight Full Zip Jacket RTO by Timothy Jimenez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Some Thoughts on the North Face Youth Boys Jacket:

My son recently got his hands on the North Face Thermoball Lightweight Full-Zip Jacket (we call it the TNF Jacket) and wears it non-stop. The medium gray matte color pairs easily with all of his clothes and the quality of the material is definitely top notch - no wonder from a brand like North Face. That being said, I give this jacket three stars out of five for a number of reasons. First, it's billed as a 'lightweight' jacket, but it's not as light as we expected. It's definitely not bulky, but not as easy to pack as some of the other supposedly "lightweight" jackets we've had in the past. Even though the jacket is well made, I don't think the quality necessarily matches the price. You're definitely paying for the North Face name, which is fine, but I'm not sure the jacket is worth more than $100. Overall my son loves his TNF jacket and it's a good choice for cool fall weather - just don't expect it to be the most compact jacket and be prepared to pay a little more for the brand name.

Pros
  • Durable and comfortable
Cons
  • The price may be too high for some families.
